LOCATION
The hackathon is set to take place in Zagreb from April 12th to 14th.
Free accommodation (2 nights) is provided for foreign students as well as meals and drinks. The competition is preceded by 4 days of thematic lectures: 8th to 12th of April in Zagreb, with the option to join online.
Students are given time to deepen their knowledge and skills in both Business and Technology through lessons held by renowned economists, industry experts, and faculty professors. While attendance is not mandatory, it is strongly recommended for an optimal learning experience.
The competitive part of the challenge starts from April 12th and ends with winner announcements and closing ceremony on April 14th.
The 24-hour hackathon begins with the introduction of an optimization-type task inspired by common problems in the energy trading industry.
Don’t let its simple form fool you, its challenging optimization ahead promises to test your team's new knowledge and previous experience. Formulate a solution and prepare to present it to other contestants.
Following the hours of brainstorming and coding, unwind with food, drinks, and organized actitivites in Zagreb as you await the announcement of the final rankings.
